Taiwan and eventually migrated to Australia in 2000. I
then commenced immediate studies of higher education in
Tasmania Conservatorium Hobart. There I studied Bachelor
of Music for four years, completing and graduating from
my studies in 2004. I have since been tutoring students
of all ages and skill levels since arriving in Australia
and have moved inter-state to Newcastle , where I am
currently a music teacher at Cherelles Music School with
10 students and still growing. I am also a registered
AMEB music teacher and give music lessons privately at
my own home in which my music studio is setup with
recording facilities and away from distractions. Apart
from piano teaching, I also give keyboard lessons,
singing lessons and music theory tuition.
Tammi Low,
My name is Tammi Low and I have experience teaching
violin, viola, theory and
beginner piano. I have 14 years experience playing
violin and have achieved 6th
grade. I have 3 years playing viola and have achieved
8th grade. I have also done
level 5 theory and am in 3rd year at the Newcastle
Conservatorium of Music.
You may
have seen me in various concerts throughout Newcastle,
including Miss Saigon,
Cheapside, The Gondoliers and more recently the Amelia
Farrugia concert. I have
taught previously at Northside Music School in Brisbane
and was a part of the
Queensland Young Conservatorium Orchestra. I am
currently playing in Orchestra Nova
and the Camerata. I enjoy teaching and have made music
my life. I look forward to
working with you and/or your child in whichever musical
pursuit you have chosen.
Your musical journey awaits!.

Piano Experience: 22years
Specialise in: Piano (Classical, Jazz, Blues, Boogie,
Pop), Music Theory, Keyboard Group Lessons, and DJ
Lessons.
Teaching Method: Individual lessons only.
Background Information:
I grew up in Merewether learning the piano from the age
of 6 years. I have played in restaurants, concerts,
weddings etc and sat for practical and theory tests run
through AMEB. My whole life has revolved around music
ranging from piano, drums, guitars, parties, nightclubs,
DJing etc till the present where I still play the piano
for recreational pleasure and enjoy any music I can
produce, play or listen to. I also have recording
facilities to help students focus on their practical
skills, finesse, and most of all, their technique. Being
a piano teacher in Newcastle I believe it is very
important to search around for the right teacher. Not
only look for a teacher that has good rates but
definitely a teacher who has the experience and
qualification as a lot of teachers will only learn to a
certain level and believe they have the knowledge and
skills to teach others. Where as this may be the case
however they will also lack in the knowledge that is
vital to understand music to its full degree.
