Our Piano lessons are conducted in the main room of the studio, and consist of one on one tutoring to enhance the students understanding of music and playing skills.
One on one lessons are important for learning the piano as it allows the student time to understand and familiarise their selves with a piano is a safe and stress free environment, free from the pressure of other students.
Group keyboard lessons will be conducted in the lower studio room which consists of 5-6 keyboard students being taught by one teacher. Digital and visual assistance (projector) will be used to aid in better understanding music concepts and to further develop their skills as a musician.
Our DJ lessons are held by DJ Ka05 (Kim Brent) in the lower studio room, with the assistance of decks and mixers DJ Ka05 can guarantee that everything from the basics of DJing right through to advanced mixing and DJing will be covered. Students will also have the opportunity to record their own DJing/mixing skills, and when the student is skilled enough, gigs (work) can then be found for the students for extra experience. This will incur an administration fee.
Singing lessons will be held in the main room being assisted by Lillian with the piano. Should the student want to fine tune their voice and record then the lesson will then be moved down to the studio room.
Recording facilities will be available for all students should they want to record their singing, piano playing, or DJ'ing to help them assess themselves in their progress.
Lillian's Piano Studio will soon be offering more services these include Violin Lessons.
Theory is important in the understanding and learning of music, it allows the student the opportunity to gain more knowledge about music and instruments, while learning to play as well, Theory lessons are conducted by one teacher in a group environment in our studio rooms, the teacher is assisted by PowerPoint presentations.
